Safe in Sussex is committed to helping victims of domestic abuse across West Sussex, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality or age – no-one should live a life in fear.

Services

  • Refuge Accommodation in West Sussex, we have 4 emergency refuges for women and their children. We can also support you in finding and accessing emergency refuge accommodation outside the area where necessary.
  • Women’s Community Groups – Freedom Programme and Domestic Abuse Recovery Toolkit
  • One to One Support
  • Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) will work alongside you, on a one-to-one basis, supporting you with your choices about how you would like to move forward. They will take time to listen and understand you and your individual circumstances and what outcomes you would like from the support.
  • Men’s Support Service with specialist IDVA
  • LGBTQ+ Support Service with specialist IDVA
